This Times Swaps

I have a SU training day coming up where we swap samples / ideas, as well as learning about the products and techniques.

These are my 'swaps' which are all based on a folded Bigz die called Two Tags.   The images show the folded and unfolded tag.  I'll not add blurb on all the inks, stamps and papers used.  If you want to know any of the combinations, ask in the comments.

  1. These are great. Have you done your 44 then?? I have done 4 but I have the pieces cut and embossed for the other 40 - think I was a bit adventurous!!

  3. Okay, explain to your American cousin what a "SU training day" is? These tags, do you cut them, emboss them, stamp them??? What's the magic number 44 that you and Kate are talking about? BillieAnne

  4. Hi BillieAnne

The training is a Stampin' Up training day. I'm a demonstrator and we all get together for product and technique training. The tags are cut first using a Big Shot machine and a Stampin' Up Bigz die called two tags. I then stamp the tags. The bird tag was made using Stampin' Up Designer Paper (DSP). The brown paper is patterned on one side. All of these are stamped with no embossing.
The magic 44 is the number of swaps that I've made as there will be 44 of us at the training day. Thats a lot of tags to make but I will receive 44 crafting samples / ideas from the other demonstrators.

    1. Oops.... just realised that the first tag had embossing. This was done once stamped using an oval Stampin' Up embossing folder and my Big Shot

  5. Cheryl, Ah, work related but looks like fun work. Can you use metal foil in those machines, like I use for my cards and ornaments? Thanks for answering my questions.

  6. Billie, yes some dies. The thin ones cut thin card but the bigger (thicker) dies, bigz dies, cut chipboard. I will send you a pm via the craft forum.
